What do you need to discuss an excavation project?
Start with the location, the work you have in mind and your timing. Drawings and elevations are useful for planned construction; photographs help explain existing conditions. We review access, material handling and the finish you need before preparing a proposal.
Can you work with our builder?
Yes. Site preparation, foundation excavation, utility trenching and grading can be coordinated with the building work. We discuss the excavation limits, access, material storage and sequence with the team before work begins.
Why does the lawn stay wet after rain?
Water may be collecting in a low area, coming from higher ground or moving slowly through the soil. Note where it appears and how long it stays. Those observations help us understand the problem before proposing a correction.
Will you restore the areas disturbed by equipment?
Yes, restoration can be included with the site work. We consider the access route as well as the construction area, then plan finish grading, lawn establishment and any replacement planting.
What affects excavation costs?
Depth, access, rock, soil conditions and the amount of material to move all affect the work. Hauling material away, bringing new material in and finishing the surrounding grounds also matter. Existing drawings and a look at the site help establish a useful estimate.
